GREEN — Grandparents Against Sex Predators (GASP) will host a training workshop Feb. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Prestwick Country Club, 2220 Raber Road.

The workshop is in preparation for a Mock Abduction Simulation Event to take place laterin the spring.

Major Case Coordinator Bill Holland, along with representatives from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, will discuss topics including: abduction; a child abduction scenario; communication plans for volunteers and the command center, procedures forthe organization and the investigation; how GASP volunteers will be used; and information on further training. New volunteers are welcome but must register in advance to attend.
