To All GASP Fingerprinting Volunteers:
The following letter was received from Lynn D’Antonio of the MOMS Club of Stow:
Dear G.A.S.P. Volunteers:
On behalf of the MOMS Club of Stow, I wanted to thank you for making our Child ID/Fingerprinting event on March 4 at the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library such a success. We had a wonderful turnout and received such positive feedback from club members and the community. Parents who came to the event expressed their true appreciation for the services you offer and the peace of mind that they received in knowing they were taking steps to keep their children safe.
The volunteers, including Steve Sharkich and his wife Millie were so friendly and accommodating. The entire group brought such enthusiasm to the event. There was a spirit of goodwill at the library that day. The dedication of your group is refreshing and the work that you do is inspiring.
Each year the MOMS Club of Stow plans many activities for its members and the G.A.S.P. Fingerprinting event was truly one of our most important. Shortly after the event I attended an Easter Egg Hunt with a friend who had also had her children fingerprinted at the library. We were in a park and there were many, many people there. In a split second, her nearly 2 year old daughter who had been walking right beside us disappeared. Needless to say, we were panicked! After an excruciatingly long 5 minutes we finally located her. What a relief! Every scenario goes through your mind at a time like that. My friend, who keeps her ID/Fingerprint discs in her car, said that having the discs right there with her gave her such reassurance. Knowing that no time would be lost in providing accurate information in this type of situation was invaluable.
Thank you for providing a service that gives parents tools to protect their children. There is nothing more important. We look forward to planning more events with you in the future. Keep up the great work!
Best regards,
Lynn D’Antonio
